Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst (Credit Underwriting)
Product: CART by Novel Patterns
Location: Noida
Experience: at least 5+ Years of experience in a related domain with a bank/NBFC in credit underwriting. Preferably as a Business Analyst.
Job Description:
As a Business Analyst in the Credit Underwriting domain, you will play a crucial role in understanding and shaping the future of our CART system. Your primary responsibility will be to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by analyzing and documenting requirements, conducting data analysis, and ensuring that the CART system aligns with the evolving needs of our organization and clients.
You should be on top of understanding Bank Statements, GST, ITR, CIBIL (Consumer and Commercial), and CAMs from the perspective of credit underwriting to enhance our offerings functionally for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements related to credit underwriting processes and systems. Ensure a clear and comprehensive understanding of business needs.
Data Analysis: Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization in credit underwriting. Use data-driven insights to make recommendations for process improvements.
Documentation: Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), use cases, and functional specifications. Maintain documentation and keep it up-to-date throughout the project lifecycle.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team. Ensure clear and effective communication of requirements, changes, and project progress.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and ensure that the developed solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of credit underwriting processes and the CART system.
Training, Conducting Demo, and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new features and functionality.
Risk Assessment: Assist in assessing and mitigating risks associated with credit underwriting processes and system changes.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to credit underwriting and risk assessment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. A master's degree like a Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant in allied domains is a plus.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the credit underwriting or financial services domain is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and draw meaningful insights.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear and concise documentation.
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools is a plus.
Knowledge of credit risk modeling and regulatory compliance in the financial industry is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
