Service Engineer Job DescriptionJob Title: Service EngineerLocation: (Insert Location)Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / ContractJob Overview:A Service Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of machinery, equipment, or systems, ensuring that they operate efficiently and safely. The role requires both technical expertise and excellent customer service skills, as the engineer often interacts directly with clients to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues.Key Responsibilities:Installation & Setup:Install and commission new equipment, machinery, or systems at client locations.Ensure equipment is set up according to specifications and manufacturer guidelines.Perform tests and adjustments to ensure proper functionality.Maintenance & Troubleshooting:Provide routine preventive maintenance for systems and equipment to avoid breakdowns.Identify and troubleshoot faults or issues in mechanical, electrical, or software components.Replace or repair faulty parts as needed.Maintain accurate service records, including maintenance schedules and repairs.Repairs & Upgrades:Conduct on-site repairs or send equipment back to the workshop if required.Upgrade equipment or systems to enhance functionality or meet regulatory standards.Customer Interaction:Communicate with clients to understand their issues and provide clear instructions or advice.Offer post-service support and troubleshooting, either in person or remotely.Ensure high customer satisfaction and maintain a professional relationship with clients.Documentation & Reporting:Complete service reports, record job details, and provide feedback on product performance.Create and maintain an inventory of parts, tools, and materials.Document any upgrades or modifications made to equipment or systems.Training & Support:Provide training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment or systems.Stay up to date with technical advancements Experience 0 - 2 Years No. of Openings 1 Education Higher Secondary, Secondary School, Diploma Role Service Engineer Industry Type Engineering / Cement / Metals Gender Male Job Country India Type of Job Full Time Work Location Type Work from Office
