We provide accounting, tax returns, VAT filings, payroll, and Companies House submissions for individuals and businesses across the UK.This role presents an opportunity to lead, build, and grow the accountancy division of our firm.We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who can manage UK client accounts, lead a team, and drive operational growth. This position will play a pivotal role in our expansion, and as we scale, the successful candidate will take on increasing leadership responsibilities, potentially leading to a UK relocation opportunity in the future.Key ResponsibilitiesUK Accounting & CompliancePrepare year-end accounts and Corporation Tax (CT600) filings for UK businessesProcess VAT returns in compliance with UK VAT regulationsOversee UK payroll processing, PAYE filings, and National Insurance contributionsManage Companies House filings, including Confirmation Statements, Director updates, and Annual AccountsLeadership & Team ManagementRecruit, train, and manage a growing accounting team as the business expandsDevelop internal processes and controls to ensure compliance and efficiencyAct as the primary point of contact for UK-based clients, ensuring excellent client serviceTechnology & EfficiencyWork with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and FreeAgent to manage client accountsImplement automated processes to streamline reporting, VAT filings, and compliance tasksContinuously improve accounting workflows to increase accuracy and efficiencyGrowth & Strategic ExpansionPlay a key role in scaling our accountancy services divisionProvide insights on business strategy, pricing, and operational improvementsPotential future relocation to the UK, subject to performance and company needsWho We're Looking For✅ Experience: At least 5+ years in UK accounting and taxation✅ Qualifications: ACCA, CPA, CMA, or an equivalent accounting qualification✅ UK Tax Knowledge: Hands-on experience in Corporation Tax (CT600), VAT returns, and PAYE submissions✅ Software Proficiency: Experience using Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Taxfiler or FreeAgent✅ Leadership Skills: Proven ability to recruit, train, and manage a team✅ Strong English Communication: Professional proficiency in written and spoken English✅ Adaptability: Open to occasional travel to the UK and Jordan officesWhat We OfferCompetitive Salary aligned with Indian market ratesPerformance-Based Bonus linked to individual and company successLeadership Role with a path to Head of Accounting & TaxationOpportunity for UK Relocation with sponsorship consideration in the futureFully Remote Setup with flexibilityNext Steps – How to ApplyTo assess your skills, shortlisted candidates will be required to:Sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement)Complete a case study involving:Bookkeeping, Year-End Accounts, and Tax Return PreparationAudit Evaluation of accounts prepared by another firmVAT Filing on XeroIf you are ready to take on this strategic role and grow with us, apply now
