Key responsibilities:•Work as part of ETL and Data Warehouse Admin team handling platform Admin support activities for ETL Tools and Linux System Administration•Installation, upgrade, patching and similar Administration activities of SAP Dataservices and SAP BI systems.•Extensive experience in SAP Dataservices installation, configuration, user management, repository creation, connectivity troubleshoot, auditing setup, etc.•Handle Production Issues (Tier 2/3 Support) to resolve Administration related production issues & ensure SLAs are met•Platform administration support for production and non-Production systems in the business intelligence domain, mainly focused on the SAP BI systems•You might also get exposure on Tivoli Workload Scheduler admin activities, job scheduling, user management, repository migrations, datastore and connectivity definitions and troubleshooting, etc.•Administration and configurations for various interfacing mechanism for file transfer between source and target systems using ssh, sftp, DataRouter, IBM Connect-Direct, etc.•Interact with the customer and help to resolve the issues, coordinate with multiple stake holders involved, manage the system outage situations, work closely with the incident management team.•You might be involved in some automation development activities as well occasionally.•Creation necessary documentation for all project deliverable phases•Release Deployment support may require working on the weekends occasionally. Technical Skills: Mandatory•4+ years’ experience in administration of ETL tools like SAP Dataservices•3+ years’ Hands on in supporting ETL administration activities of production and nonproduction systems.•Strong Hands on in Unix & advanced Unix Shell Scripting •Ability to validate platform matrix and compatibility of applications and 3rd party softwares•Basic knowledge of SQL •Hands on experience in file transfer mechanism (NAS, sFTP, connect-direct, etc.) Good to have•Linux System administration knowledge on RHEL and •Experience in administration of administration of Reporting tools like SAP Business Objects will be added advantage.•Awareness of administration of reporting tools like Power-Bi will be advantageous•Knowledge of Big Data platforms using Databases like Vertica, Teradata, Hadoop, Snowflake•Knowledge on Cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure will be advantageous•Willingness to learn all data warehousing technologies & perform out of the comfort zone in other ETL technologies.
