JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in U.S. GAAP , with a focus on healthcare accounting and experience with accounting system implementation. Preference will be given to candidates with Big4 experience and accounting certifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close process.
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Assist in accounting system implementation and set up.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations and ensure compliance within financial systems.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (Master's Preferred)
- Big 4 accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with U.S. GAAP.
- Accounting certification required
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including some experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Healthcare accounting experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and management abilities.
