Voice Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Voice Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco Unified Communication technologies and other related platforms. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining voice communication systems to ensure seamless and efficient communication within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Implementation:

· Design, configure, and deploy Cisco Unified Communication Manager (CUCM) and Cisco Unity Connection (CUC) systems.

· Implement and manage Cisco CUBE/SBC (Session Border Controller) for secure and reliable voice communication.

· Set up and maintain UCCE/Nice Contact Center solutions to enhance customer service operations.

· Integrate and manage RingCentral and Microsoft Teams for unified communication solutions.

· Configure and support Cisco Expressway for secure remote communication.

Maintenance and Support:

· Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Cisco Telepresence systems to ensure high-quality video conferencing.

· Manage Cisco IP FAX systems for efficient fax communication.

· Maintain and support Wallboard, VPI Empower, NIM (Nice Interactive Manager), and NICE Uptivity (Recordings) for effective contact center operations.

· Oversee Webex video conferencing solutions, including the Webex Control Hub for centralized management.

· Utilize SolarWinds for network monitoring and performance optimization.

Collaboration and Training:

· Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of voice systems with other network components.

· Provide training and support to end-users on the use of voice communication systems.

· Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and support for voice communication systems.

Documentation and Reporting:

· Maintain detailed documentation of voice communication systems, configurations, and procedures.

· Generate regular reports on system performance, usage, and issues for management review.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in voice communication.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in network voice engineering or a similar role.

· Extensive experience with Cisco Unified Communication Manager (CUCM) and Cisco Unity Connection (CUC).

· Proven experience with Cisco CUBE/SBC, UCCE/Nice Contact Center, RingCentral, Microsoft Teams, and Cisco Expressway.

Technical Skills:

· Strong knowledge of Cisco TelePresence, Cisco IP FAX, and Wallboard systems.

· Experience with VPI Empower, NIM (Nice Interactive Manager), NICE Uptivity (Recordings), and Webex video conferencing.

· Proficiency in using SolarWinds for network monitoring and performance management.

· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Certifications:

· Relevant Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE in Collaboration) are highly desirable.

· Additional certifications in RingCentral, Microsoft Teams, or other related technologies are a plus.
