Verbal/Quant Tutor for GMAT/GRE

We are seeking a passionate and experienced GMAT/GRE Verbal/Quant part-time tutor to help students achieve their academic goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the test format, content, and strategies, as well as the ability to engage and motivate students.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions focused on GMAT/GRE preparation.
• Develop personalized study plans and strategies tailored to each student's strengths and weaknesses.
• Assign practice tests and provide detailed feedback to students on their performance.
• Teach test-taking strategies and time management skills to improve students' scores.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with changes to the GMAT/GRE exam and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Communicate regularly with students and prep co-ordinators/Test Prep Head about progress and areas for improvement.
• Create and maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Math, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in GMAT/GRE tutoring with a track record of helping students improve their scores. (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of the exam structure, content, and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, flexibility, and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with online tutoring platforms and tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior teaching experience in high school or higher education.
• Experience with other standardized tests (e.g., SAT, ACT)
• Certification in test preparation (e.g., from a recognized test prep organization)
• Ability to work in person from our spacious Mumbai office
