Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager - Sales to lead our sales team. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader, a strategic thinker, and a results-driven professional with a proven track record in sales management. As GM - Sales, you will be accountable for driving sales growth, developing strategic sales plans, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets within the budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.Identify new market opportunities and drive business growth in the solar energy sector.Set sales targets and monitor performance to ensure the achievement of targets.Sales Management:Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to the sales team.Foster a high-performance culture and ensure team alignment with company goals.Business Development:Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.Identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial markets.Develop and implement strategies to expand the company's customer base.Customer Focus:Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction by understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions.Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.Financial Accountability:Manage the sales budget effectively and ensure cost-efficient operations.Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales revenue and profitability.Market Analysis:Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on market analysis and research.Adapt sales strategies to meet changing market conditions and customer needs.Collaboration:Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and customer support, to ensure seamless coordination of sales activities.Work closely with the senior management team to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the solar energy industry.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills.Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
