Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Developer


Required Skills :

  • Salesforce Certification (preferably related to Marketing Cloud)
  • Expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and associated tools


Key Responsibilities :

Platform Management and Support :

  • Maintain and support existing Salesforce Marketing Cloud instances.
  • Work with RESTful APIs to synchronize data between Salesforce Sales Cloud (CRM) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Requirements Gathering and Solution Design :

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Design solutions that meet both business and technical needs, ensuring performance, scalability, maintainability, and stability.

Campaign Execution and Optimization :

  • Plan and execute lead generation and customer engagement campaigns with a focus on personalized content.
  • Map customer journeys, build automations, and segment audiences to deliver tailored experiences.

Customer Experience Enhancement :

  • Create and optimize customer journeys to enhance personalization and automation throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Contribute to strategies aimed at increasing customer lifetime value.

Development and Technical Implementation :

  • Design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, and manage digital marketing solutions within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem.
  • Utilize tools like Journey Builder, Email Studio, Interaction Studio, Audience Studio, Salesforce Social, and Advertising Studio.

Collaboration and Documentation :

  • Work closely with internal teams and external vendors or consultants to build scalable solutions.
  • Document technical processes and ensure alignment with project milestones.
  • Raise alerts if deadlines are at risk.

Continuous Improvement :

  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance knowledge and proficiency in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform and marketing automation technologies.

Technology and Integration Expertise :

  • Possess an advanced understanding of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem, data models, integrations, and third-party technology solutions.


Preferred Experience :

  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools such as Journey Builder, Email Studio, Interaction Studio, Audience Studio, Social Studio, and Advertising Studio.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation best practices and the SFMC ecosystem.
  • Experience working with vendors and consulting agencies.
