Role Overview: As the Manager Sales for the Ranchi region, your primary responsibility is to drive sales growth and market penetration in the designated area. You will be accountable for various aspects of sales management, including channel partner onboarding, performance monitoring, pricing strategy implementation, enhancing closing experience, and devising engagement strategies.


  • Channel Partner Onboarding and Management:
  • Develop and execute a robust plan for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding channel partners in the Ranchi region.
  • Establish clear communication channels and provide necessary training and support to ensure channel partners are well-equipped to promote products effectively.
  • Regularly assess the performance of channel partners and implement corrective measures when necessary to optimize their contribution to overall sales targets.


  • Channel Partner Performance Monitoring:
  • Set clear performance metrics and KPIs for channel partners to measure their effectiveness in driving sales.
  • Implement a systematic tracking mechanism to monitor the performance of channel partners against set targets.
  • Provide timely feedback and support to channel partners to address performance gaps and enhance their productivity.


  • Pricing Strategy Implementation:
  • Collaborate with the pricing team to develop and implement competitive pricing strategies tailored to the Ranchi market.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and customer feedback to adjust pricing strategies as necessary to maximize sales revenue and profitability.


  • Closing Experience Enhancement:
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify bottlenecks in the sales process and streamline the closing experience for customers.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction during the sales closing process, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience.
  • Continuously review and refine sales techniques and tactics to improve conversion rates and accelerate the sales cycle.


  • Engagement Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive engagement strategies to foster strong relationships with existing and potential customers in the Ranchi region.
  • Leverage various channels, including social media, events, and direct outreach, to engage with customers and prospects and drive brand loyalty.
  • Analyze customer feedback and market insights to refine engagement strategies and ensure alignment with customer needs and preferences.


Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in sales, preferably in the relevant industry and geographical area.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales techniques, market dynamics, and channel management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
