Spero Healthcare Innovations is a company that specializes in creating emergency management software for ambulance services and other emergency providers. The software, SPERO EMS, is designed to be customizable, user-friendly, and environmentally conscious. The company also provides home healthcare support services, with a team of trained professionals and medical resources that offer personalized care to patients.

We are looking for a GIS Developer to join our team and work on exciting and challenging analytics projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GIS principles and technologies, as well as experience with Python and SQL database programming.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain GIS applications and tools for analytics projects
  • Work with geospatial data to perform complex analysis and create data visualizations
  • Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to develop and implement analytics solutions
  • Build and manage GIS databases
  • Automate GIS tasks using Python and SQL
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest GIS technologies and trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in GIS development
  • Experience with Python and SQL database programming
  • Experience with ArcGIS or another GIS software packages
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence
  • Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
