Job Description:
As a Website and SEO Marketing Executive you will be responsible for managing the website content that includes creating new landing pages for advertisements, new website pages and new blog pages with the help of website agency along with optimizing the existing blogs and pages for better reach.
You are also responsible for writing SEO related keyword blogs for improving the search engine ranking of the website. It involves keyword and competitor research, seo content planning with the help of internal team members and SEO Agency.
You are given the task for increasing brand awareness among the target audience in an appealing manner through your writing. You should be able to understand the brand and product messaging and be consistent with content. You will be working with both internal and external stakeholders at Varthana.
As a Website and SEO Marketing Executive you are responsible for frequent updation of the website content as per the requirement and need. You would be responsible for managing the digital assets of the website including images, videos, and content.
Specific Job Description:
Website Content Management:
Manage Varthana website’s Content by working with external developers, SEO Agency and in-house content writers and ensuring it meets the needs of the organization
Conduct content audits to identify gaps and redundancies in the website content
Write and edit web copies including landing pages, product pages, blog pages etc.
Analyze analytics data to learn how users interact with our site
Managing and updating website digital assets like images, videos, content as per the need
Ensure all the web copies are consistent and clear, and meet the quality standards.
SEO Content:
Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify relevant and high-traffic keywords for content creation
Develop and execute content strategies that align with SEO best practices and business goals
Write and optimize product pages, blog posts, and other digital content for search engines and user experience
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal designers, and marketers, and external agencies, to ensure content is optimized for SEO and user engagement
Monitor and analyze website traffic, search engine rankings of keywords, and other key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and algorithm updates to evaluate the content strategy and optimization tactics
Conduct frequent competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the market
Develop and maintain seo editorial calendars to ensure timely and consistent content production
Website and SEO Marketing Executive Requirements:
Bachelors/Masters degree in Marketing, Media and Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
A minimum of 1-3 years experience in web copy and seo content writing.
A minimum of 1-3 years experience in website content management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly computer literate with capability in Email, MS Office or Google Workspace and related business and communication tools.
Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
