Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong expertise in working with Oracle-based databases. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing scalable, enterprise-level Java applications and integrating them with Oracle DB environments. You will play a critical role in building, maintaining, and optimizing back-end services and database interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
  • Write efficient and secure SQL queries, stored procedures, and PL/SQL scripts for Oracle databases.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, DBAs, and other stakeholders to define system specifications.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures.
  • Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks related to database and Java code.
  • Perform unit and integration testing of developed modules.
  • Ensure code quality, documentation, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and agile/scrum ceremonies.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or later).
  • Proven experience with Oracle RDBMS, including SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with JDBC, Hibernate, or other ORM tools.
  • Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
  • Understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
  • Ability to debug complex issues across application and database layers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Oracle 12c/19c environments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience in working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • 3-4 years experience required.
