We are pleased to launch the ExcelHer program – the career returnship program at Volvo Group in India. The program is for women who have been on a career break for a year or more. This is our step towards empowering women to relaunch their professional journey after their absence from the workplace due to personal commitments. Exciting work assignments have been identified which you can refer in the list below.

The assignments are for a tenure of 9 months. The participant of this program would have access to professional development programs, mentoring assistance by a business leader, apart from the experience of working with people from different functions/technologies/culture.

About the team: 

System Integration and Test team focuses on providing the Product Test status for all Product class. The team is built with passionate Integration engineers and Test engineers. 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

Responsible for HIL Integration and Testing.  Create test cases based on the Test strategy.  Assure the deliverables are according to the I&V process.  Support Agile teams in tool chain.  Align with team towards test strategy.  Actively take part in Cross functional forums. 

Skills Required: 

Mandatory Skill Sets: 

Excellent domain knowledge of the Test & Verification area.  Good knowledge of vehicle network architecture, communication & diagnostic protocols (CAN, J1939, LIN, ISO 14230, ISO 14229, Ethernet)  Very good Knowledge about the Electronic/Electrical Architecture in a vehicle.  Good level of knowledge in both Electrical & Electronics Technology. 

Secondary Skill Sets: 

Knowledge about Truck/Vehicle environment and Truck Application.  Excellent Knowledge of software tools on testing.  Good Knowledge of Software Release Management.  Exposure to vehicle parts and electrical network testing skills. 

Education & Experience Required: 

2-5 years of experience in Testing and Verification.  BE/M. Tech in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
