Role Overview:
As a Talent Acquisition Lead, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end recruitment for core automotive industry roles, ensuring the hiring of high-quality talent across R&D, Embedded Systems, Quality, and related functions. The role requires deep expertise in automotive hiring, strong stakeholder management, and exceptional negotiation skills to close positions effectively within defined timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment Lifecycle Management
- Manage the complete recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding for mid-to-senior level positions.
- Drive proactive engagement with candidates, including salary negotiations and offer rollouts.
- Ensure seamless onboarding and superior candidate experience.
2. Automotive Hiring Expertise
- Build and execute specialized hiring strategies to attract top talent from the automotive industry.
- Source candidates for roles in R&D, Embedded Systems, Powertrain, ADAS, Infotainment, Testing, and Validation.
- Develop strong talent pipelines through networking, referrals, industry mapping, and headhunting.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Workforce Planning
- Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and align hiring plans.
- Provide market intelligence on automotive talent availability, compensation trends, and competitor mapping.
- Act as a strategic advisor to stakeholders with regular dashboards and analytics.
4. Process Excellence & Reporting
- Track and report recruitment KPIs including time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Continuously improve recruitment processes using analytics and feedback.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: B.E / B.Tech in Engineering with MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, specifically focused on automotive industry hiring.
- Strong headhunting and market mapping skills for niche and senior roles.
- Excellent negotiation skills for salary discussions and offer finalizations.
- Ability to manage multiple positions simultaneously and deliver within tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn, Naukri, ATS tools, and networking channels.
