Role Summary:
We are seeking a talented Video Editor to create engaging promo/explainer videos for our SaaS product. These videos will showcase the features and benefits of our product for marketing purposes. The ideal candidate should have a creative mindset and strong skills in video production and storytelling, with a deep understanding of SaaS solutions. You will collaborate closely with our product, marketing, and design teams to produce high-quality videos that educate and engage our target audience.

The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio of previous video editing work, with experience in creating promo/explainer videos. Attention to detail and the ability to work within tight deadlines are essential.
Essential Duties:
Conceptualize and Create Videos: Develop concepts, scripts, and storyboards for product explainer videos that effectively communicate the features, benefits, and use cases of our SaaS products.
Video Production: Handle all aspects of video production, including filming, editing, animation, and sound design to create professional and polished videos.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with product managers, marketers, and designers to ensure the videos align with our product messaging and branding.
Maintain Consistency: Ensure a consistent and high-quality visual and audio experience across all video content.
Stay Updated: Keep up with industry trends and best practices in video production and SaaS marketing to continually improve our video content.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience: Proven experience in creating product explainer videos, preferably for SaaS or technology products.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), animation tools (e.g., After Effects), and audio editing.
Storytelling Ability: Strong storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and make them engaging and understandable.
Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure high production quality.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Creativity: Ability to think creatively and bring innovative ideas to the table.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Animation, Marketing, or a related field.
SaaS Experience: Experience working with SaaS products or in the tech industry.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous explainer videos or related work.
