Experience : 12+ Years

Strong experience on following Tech Stack :

- NodeJS

- ReactJS

- AWS Cloud

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Engineering to lead our talented engineering team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a deep technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of building and delivering successful software products. As the Head of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our technology, driving innovation, and fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

- Provide strategic direction and technical guidance to the engineering team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

- Drive the architecture, design, and development of scalable, high-performance software solutions using NodeJS, ReactJS, AWS Cloud, and potentially Python.

- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into the technical roadmap.

Team Management and Development :

- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of talented software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional growth.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

- Conduct regular performance assessments, provide constructive feedback, and create opportunities for skill development.

Project and Product Delivery :

- Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery of software products.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and requirements, and manage resource allocation accordingly.

- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.

Technical Excellence :

- Champion coding standards, best practices, and engineering methodologies to maintain code quality, reliability, and scalability.

- Lead code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making processes.

- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging engineers to explore new technologies and approaches.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, fostering a shared understanding of technical initiatives and challenges.

- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to align engineering efforts with overall company objectives and business strategies.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

- 12 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong foundation in NodeJS and ReactJS.


- Experience with Python is a plus.

- 10 years of experience in technical leadership and people management, preferably in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

- Proven track record of successfully delivering software products and projects from conception to deployment.

- Expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and a solid understanding of modern software architecture principles.

- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to make informed decisions, and adept at managing competing priorities.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and levels of the organization.
