This role blends technical expertise, leadership, and stakeholder management, ensuring that quality engineering is embedded at every stage of the software development lifecycle.As both a hands-on contributor and people leader, you will shape QA best practices, guide automation strategy, mentor teams, and represent the quality function in client-facing discussions. You’ll also play a key role in building and evolving Talink’s Quality Engineering capability.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Strategy and GovernanceDefine and own the overall test strategy across multiple projects and technology stacks.Establish quality standards, frameworks, and best practices for test planning, execution, and reporting.Collaborate with architects and delivery managers to align test strategies with business goals, timelines, and risk profiles.Leadership and Resource ManagementLead and mentor the Quality Engineering (QE) team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.Manage resource planning, task allocation, and team performance across concurrent client engagements.Promote a high-performance culture that values shared learning and continuous improvement.Automation and Delivery EnablementDrive the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and ensure seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.Review and approve automation strategies, ensuring scalability and maintainability.Oversee non-functional testing (e.g., performance, resilience, and security) as part of delivery planning.Client and Stakeholder EngagementRepresent the QE practice in client meetings, presentations, and reviews.Translate complex testing challenges into clear, actionable, and value-driven solutions.Support estimation, scoping, and planning activities across engagements.Practice Development and Continuous ImprovementChampion continuous improvement initiatives including QA tooling, dashboards, and reusable assets.Support recruitment, onboarding, and knowledge sharing within the QE function.Contribute to building internal QA capability through training, templates, and best-practice playbooks.Qualifications and ExperienceTechnical SkillsStrong understanding of QA strategy, test lifecycle management, and integration within Agile/Dev Ops environments.Proven experience in test automation architecture, framework design, and tool selection.Familiarity with cloud-native testing, containerization, service virtualization, and test environment management.Experience6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including 2+ years in a leadership or test management role.Demonstrated ability to manage test teams, ensure delivery quality, and engage effectively with clients and technical stakeholders.Soft SkillsInspirational leadership with the ability to motivate and guide high-performing teams.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both technical and business-facing.Strategic mindset with a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach to quality assurance.
