MeraBills is a growing digital platform that is using the power of software to transform the way India's 8-crore+ microentrepreneurs do business. We are looking for a skilled Technical Lead to head our Android application development team. You will oversee technical direction, drive architecture and design, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality features. The role involves hands-on coding, mentoring software engineers, collaborating with product and business teams, driving code reviews, and setting best practices for performance and quality. Expect real ownership, technical innovation, highly impactful work, and the opportunity to work shoulder-to-shoulder with industry leaders. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in Android mobile application development. Experience in a software product development company is a must. Expert Java programmer with an in-depth understanding of advanced language features. Knowledge of Kotlin is required. Deep understanding of MVVM architecture and UI design. Capable of independently designing, implementing and delivering large features with high quality. Proficiency with software design principles and setting coding standards. Comfortable with creating tests for and debugging Android applications. Experienced in coaching, motivating and mentoring junior team members. Able to create good project plans, give realistic deadlines and meet them, communicate regularly (in English) and set clear expectations.
