Job Responsibilities :

Responsibilities :

- Lead the development of custom WordPress themes, plugins, and functionality to meet project requirements.

- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to translate design mockups and requirements into functional WordPress websites and applications.

- Develop custom solutions using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies, adhering to best practices and coding standards.

- Optimize WordPress websites for performance, scalability, and security, including implementing caching, CDN integration, and security best practices.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers to ensure code quality and consistency.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolutions to technical challenges.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend best practices for implementation.

- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on WordPress development best practices and techniques.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and content creators, to deliver high-quality WordPress solutions.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and documentation.

Skills Required :

- 4 - 6 years of experience in WordPress development, with a strong portfolio showcasing custom WordPress websites and applications.

- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL, with a deep understanding of WordPress architecture and APIs.

- Experience with popular WordPress frameworks and libraries, such as Bootstrap, jQuery, and React.

- Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile-first development practices.

- Knowledge of WordPress security best practices and experience implementing security measures to protect WordPress websites from vulnerabilities.

- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and code collaboration tools like GitHub or Bitbucket.

- Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues efficiently, with a strong attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Experience with web performance optimization techniques, including caching, minification, and lazy loading.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications in WordPress development are a plus.
