Job Description: Social Media Handler & Video Editor Position

We are seeking a highly creative and results-driven Social Media Handler & Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, and producing professional-quality videos that align with our brand vision. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, storytelling, and hands-on editing skills to boost our online presence and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management
  • Plan, create, and manage content calendars across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Monitor trends, hashtags, and engagement strategies to maximize reach.
  • Analyze insights and metrics to improve campaign performance and audience growth.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and community interactions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Video Editing & Content Creation
  • Edit high-quality short-form and long-form videos (Reels, Shorts, YouTube videos, promotional ads, etc.).
  • Add subtitles, transitions, effects, animations, and background music to enhance engagement.
  • Repurpose raw footage into multiple content formats suitable for different platforms.
  • Work closely with the marketing/creative team to align visuals with brand identity.
  • Creative Strategy
  • Develop innovative content ideas and campaigns to strengthen brand visibility.
  • Stay updated with digital trends, editing techniques, and social media algorithms.
  • Collaborate with designers, writers, and campaign managers to ensure consistency across all channels.

Requirements

  • Proven 2–5 years of experience in social media management and video editing.
  • Strong knowledge of major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.).
  • Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Canva, etc.).
  • Understanding of digital marketing, content funnels, and social media algorithms.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to write engaging captions.
  • Strong creative eye with attention to detail, aesthetics, and storytelling.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher, Internship
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
