About the Role:

We are looking for a Data Engineer with 6–8 years of experience in Databricks , Python , and SQL to join our team. This role will focus on migrating on-premise Big Data Spark and Hive/Impala scripts to Databricks on Azure . The primary responsibility of this role is to migrate on-premise Big Data pipelines (Spark, Hive/Impala) to the Databricks environment on Azure.

You will play a key role in transforming legacy ETL pipelines into scalable, cloud-native solutions, while ensuring performance, reliability, and data accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end migration of ETL pipelines to Databricks

Re-engineer and optimize existing Spark and Hive/Impala code

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

Ensure scalable, secure, and efficient data architecture on Azure

Work independently on complex migration and transformation tasks

What We're Looking For:

Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Python, SQL

Solid background in Big Data technologies (Spark, Hive, Impala)

Proven expertise in cloud platforms (Azure preferred)

Experience in data migration and ETL transformation

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Familiarity with Agile methodologies
