Job Title : Azure Databricks Architect

Location : Bangalore, India

Employment Type : Full-Time

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and design comprehensive data solutions on Microsoft Azure, with a strong emphasis on Azure Databricks.

- Lead data architecture initiatives, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals.

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define data strategies, architectural frameworks, and technology roadmaps.

- Drive the migration and transformation of data from Oracle to Azure Data Lake.

- Ensure data solutions are secure, scalable, and highly available.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and data professionals.

- Design and implement data integration strategies across Azure services and hybrid environments.

- Optimize performance and cost-efficiency of Databricks clusters, data pipelines, and storage systems.

- Monitor and manage cloud resources to maintain optimal performance and reliability.

- Set up and configure Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Data Services including :

- Azure Data Factory

- Azure SQL Data Warehouse

- Azure Data Lake

- Deep expertise in Databricks, including : Apache Spark, Delta Lake

- Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.

- Proven track record of leading and delivering large-scale data projects.

- Experience in designing and implementing data integration between cloud and on-premises systems.

- Proficiency in performance tuning, cost optimization, and resource management in cloud environments.

- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer)

- Experience with other cloud platforms and hybrid cloud environments.

- Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and security standards.
