Job Role: Data Architect

Job Location: Gurgaon/ Noida / Bengaluru

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Overall 12+ years of relevant experience in Data modelling, Data Migration Data Warehousing, Data Integration and Data Lake projects

Technical:

· Candidate should have expertise in Modelling of data – understanding source data, creating data models for landing, integration and warehouse layers is very important before the data engineering is defined.

· Architect, Data tack Development.

· Expert knowledge of ODS/Data Lake/Analytical stores design fundamentals. ng, Database modelling, Data Integration ETL etc.

· Should have expertise and working experience in at least 2 RDBMS/Cloud DW/DW Appliances among Teradata/ Netezza/ SQL Server/ Oracle.

· Expertise with SQL/Python/Linux Shell Scripting.

· Good to have exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP cloud and its service offerings.

· Aware of techniques such as: Data Modelling, Data migration, Database Design, Performance Tuning and Regression Testing

· Working knowledge of the creation of data infrastructure - views, stored procedures, ETL patterns, etc.

· Ability to understand, create and maintain data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, system architecture diagrams, functional and system analysis

Project Management:

- Experience in implementing 2-3 big data warehousing projects- Experience in managing team of 8-10 individuals- Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.- Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements

Role & Responsibilities

- Technology Leadership – Independently he/she should be able to design, implement deliver complex Data Warehousing/Data Lake and Data Integration project assignments.- Data warehouse technical design and development.- Define and govern best practices, standards and development methodologies related to design, modelling, and implementation of data warehouse platform.- Participate and lead discussions with business leads, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into data warehouse design and implementation.- Create provisioning layer for the BI tools like Power BI. Performance tuning of complex SQL queries in traditional and distributed RDMS systems. Data dictionary comparison between various DW like Redshift and Snowflake.- Ability to think analytically, use a systematic and logical approach to analyze data, problems, and situations.- Ability to convey ideas and information clearly and accurately to self or others whether in writing or verbal.

Education: BE/B.Tech/Master of Computer Application

- · Nice to have: Domain knowledge of Life Science/ Pharma Industry and associated data ecosystem
