Job Description: Sr. Technical Architect - Data Platforms, Integration and Analytics (Grade 9)
Summary:
The Technical Architect of Data plays a pivotal role within our Enterprise Architecture Team. This
position is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive data architecture
solutions encompassing data platforms, integration, analytics, automation, and more. The
successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in functional and technical domain knowledge
including CRM core products and Data Platforms, Data processing, ETL, Data Integrations,
Data Modeling, Data Strategies, and Data Principles. Strong soft skills, technical writing abilities,
and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Required Skills:
● Data Architecture: Extensive experience in designing complex data architectures,

● Business Architecture: Deep understanding of Business Architecture and domain
knowledge of Salesforce Products and other corporate functions such as Finance, HR,
legal, Risk Management, Security, Program Management Office, etc.
● EDW and Data Hubs: Proficiency in Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) and data hub
concepts and implementations.
● Salesforce Data Cloud: Excellent knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud and its integration
within enterprise data ecosystems.
● Data Integration and Processing: Expertise in ETL processes, data integrations, and
data movement technologies (Mulesoft, Airflow, Kafka, IICS, AWS MSK, Spark, dbt,
Iceberg, Trino, etc.).
● Data Modeling: Mastery of data modeling techniques and tools (e.g., ERWin).
● Data Strategies: Proven experience in developing and executing data strategies.
● Data Governance: Experience with data governance principles and best practices.
● Technology Evaluation: Proficiency in translating business use cases through technology
assessments and proof-of-concepts.
● Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure,
GCP).
● Data Science and AI/ML: Proficiency in data science and machine learning principles
with hands-on experience in Sagemaker, Einstein Analytics, Tableau, Vertex AI, Mulesoft
RPA, and more.
● Northstar Architecture: Familiarity with strategic architecture development.
Minimum Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
(Master's degree preferred).

● Familiarity with big data technologies and NoSQL databases.
● Proven expertise in formulating and implementing robust data governance frameworks,

lineage, security, privacy, compliance, and more.
● Proficiency in designing Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) and data hub and their
practical implementations. Deep understanding of Canonical Data Modeling techniques
● Salesforce Proficiency: A strong grasp of Salesforce product lines, including CRM, Data

We are seeking a Data Modeler who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and
documenting data architecture and data modeling solutions, which include the use of
Application sources, relational, dimensional, and NoSQL cloud databases as well as the
Cloud Data Lakes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Data Modeling
including 3rd Normal forms, dimensional modeling and Data vault 2.0 , data structures, data
manipulation, Data integration, and a clear understanding of data and entity relationships
and data modeling best practices across source to supply.
What You'll Do:
● Collaborate with Solution and data architects, Product and Engineering team
members to understand business requirements and translate them into data models.
● Ensure that the data models align with the enterprise data strategy and frameworks.
● Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data analysis and
business intelligence.
● Create and maintain a metadata repository to hold data model artifacts.
● Optimize and update logical and physical data models to support new and existing
projects/Application.
● Work with data governance and Management teams to ensure data quality and
compliance with data management standards and practices.
● Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to
ensure consistency of data models.
● Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL
scripts.
● Document the data architecture and environment in order to maintain a current and
accurate view of the larger data picture.
● Identify opportunities to reduce data redundancy, streamline data flows, and improve
information management.
● Work closely with the Data Architects and Engineering team to implement data
strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual data models.
● Support data migration projects, including mapping schemas and defining ETL
processes.
What you must have to be successful in this role:
● 10+ years of Proven experience as a Data Modeler, Data Architect, or Database
Designer.
● 10+ years of Expertise with ERWin data modeling tools and Develop conceptual,
logical, and physical data models
● Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL script
using ERWin
● Experience in integrating the ERWin with Various Data and Application Cataloging
tools like Open Meta, LeanIX etc.
● Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
● Knowledge of SQL and experience with at least one of the major databases SQL
Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL
●Erwin Data Modeling tool , Data Modeling Techniques and Tools (ERStudio , PowerDesigner) , SQL , AWS , Snowflake , Reverse Engineering Data Modeling , CRM Platform
● Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence platforms.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
