Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Blood Centre Technician located in Kochi. The Blood Centre Technician will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks such as venipuncture, handling blood donations, processing and labeling blood specimens, conducting tests, and maintaining laboratory equipment. The role also involves ensuring adherence to safety protocols, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service to donors and patients alike.

Qualifications

  • BMLT/ DMLT
  • Paramedical Council Registration is mandatory
  • Proficient in Medical Terminology and Laboratory Medicine
  • Strong Laboratory Skills, including the ability to conduct tests and maintain laboratory equipment
  • Experience in Venipuncture
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
  • Attention to detail and excellent record-keeping abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies calmly
