Data Engineering, building pipelines, SQL, Informatica Data Quality, Informatica Data Governance, Informatica Lineage, S3, Experience in data modelling, and Transformation using DBT & Snowflake is must

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong experience in building data pipelines, managing data quality and governance using Informatica tools, and transforming data with modern frameworks like DBT (Data Build Tool). This role will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, building efficient ETL/ELT pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and Maintain Data Pipelines:- Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and transformation of structured and unstructured data from various sources.- Optimize and automate workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT).- Data Quality and Governance:- Implement and maintain data quality frameworks using Informatica Data Quality tools to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and reliability.- Collaborate with the data governance team to define and enforce policies for data security, privacy, and compliance using Informatica Data Governance and Informatica Lineage.- Data Modeling and Transformation:- Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data models to support analytics and reporting needs.- Use DBT (Data Build Tool) to perform data transformations, ensuring the data is well-structured and optimized for analysis. Experience using Snowflake is must.- Cloud Infrastructure:- Manage and optimize data storage solutions on Amazon S3, ensuring cost-effective and secure data storage.- Collaborate with cloud and DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of data solutions.- Collaboration and Reporting:- Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.- Produce documentation and reports on data flows, models, and quality metrics to ensure transparency and accountability.

Key Qualifications:

- Experience:- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, building data pipelines, and managing large datasets.- Hands-on experience with SQL for querying and transforming data.- Experience with Informatica Data Quality, Informatica Data Governance, and Informatica Lineage for ensuring data accuracy and compliance.- Proven experience working with Amazon S3 for data storage and retrieval.- Strong experience in data modeling and transformation using DBT (Data Build Tool) & Snowflake- Skills:- Proficient in designing and maintaining data pipelines using modern data tools and frameworks.- Strong knowledge of data management best practices, including data quality, governance, and security.- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably AWS.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.- Education:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
