About Axial Aero:We, Axial Aero, are an aerospace technology company at the forefront of developing next generating full-motion and full-mission flight simulators. Our goal is to developultra-realistic flight simulation technologiesby integratinghigh-fidelity physics, real-time motion systems, including full 360-degree motion with centrifugal forces, and immersive projection/XR.We are seeking experiencedMechanical Engineerswho can take complete ownership of product development from concept to prototype to production. The ideal candidate brings strong fundamentals, hands-on execution capability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.Role Overview:You will be part of truly multi-disciplinary team, sharing knowledge on materials, mechanical designs, electronics, aerodynamics and aero-engines, human physiology, aviation medicine, firmware, software and AI. As part of the team,you may also have the opportunity to visit restricted military / civil aerospace installations and interact with operators in the field and may have the privilege of interacting with decorated soldiers and officers of the Indian armed forces.Your primary focus would be to contribute to developing afield deployable Aviation simulation platform , combining realistic cockpit like structures, precise motion on 6-DOF motion platforms and multi-axis rotations subjected to high-velocity centrifugal motion, intended forpilot training and operational readiness exercises .If you have a passion forsimulation technology, physics-based systems, and aviation trainingand patriotism to contribute to Bharat’s Aatmanirbharata, this is the perfect role for youQualifications & Skills:Must-Have Proficiency inFEA software(Comsol, Ansys, or similar) Experience instructural analysis of large, welded structuresandbolted joint analysis Proven experience in buildingfully functional field prototypesGood to Have Experience withMulti-Body Dynamics (MBD)orFlex Body Dynamics Experience setting up or managing amechatronics workshop/laboratory End-to-end ownership:concept → design → production → product launch Familiarity withglobal and Indian manufacturing ecosystemsand supply chains Ability to quickly learn and advise oncertification and compliance plansTeam & Project Collaboration Experience working in astart-uporagile developmentenvironment Strongmultidisciplinary approachto engineering problem solving Ability to fostercamaraderie and mutual respectwithin a diverse team Role is on-site from our Hyderabad / Bengaluru offices and may need up-to 25% travel
