 Field Operations (Solar / Renewable Energy) – Electrical Head Quarter - Kolkata , Project Location: East Nagaland (Full-time, Field-Based) Experience Required: 2–3 Years We are hiring an experienced Electrical Field Engineer / Solar Technician to support solar mini-grid operations across rural East Nagaland. The role involves hands-on installation, maintenance, and community-level support to ensure reliable renewable energy access. Key Responsibilities • Install and maintain solar PV systems, batteries, and inverters • Perform AC/DC wiring, troubleshooting, load testing, and preventive checks • Monitor system performance, record daily meter readings & generation data • Coordinate with local operators for smooth site operations • Assist in inspections, commissioning, and field documentation • Support awareness/training sessions during visits Technical Requirements • Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits, cable termination, and safety protocols • Hands-on experience with inverters, charge controllers, and diagnostic tools • Ability to read basic electrical diagrams and identify faults • Proficiency in Excel for operational reporting Preferred Attributes • Experience in solar EPC/O&M or electrical fieldwork (2–3 years) • Comfortable working in rural field conditions • Hindi & English required; Nagamese/Bengali an advantage Additional Details • Shared accommodation at project sites • First relocation from Kolkata supported • Mandatory short orientation at Kolkata HQ Eligibility Diploma / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Experience: 2–3 years in solar installation, O&M, or electrical maintenance Compensation ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience)
