Introduction:
We are seeking an experienced Test Advisory Lead / Business Analyst who excels in the latest testing technologies and possesses strong communication skills to interact with clients effectively. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and client-facing abilities to drive project success through test advisory and business analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
• Formulate comprehensive testing strategies tailored to project requirements and client expectations.
• Evaluate and recommend modern testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of testing processes.
Gap analysis:
• Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current testing practices and industry standards or project requirements. Recommend solutions to bridge these gaps and enhance testing processes.
Test Planning:
• Design and document detailed test plans, outlining scope, objectives, resources, schedules, and deliverables.
• Develop test cases and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
Execution and Monitoring:
• Oversee the execution of test cases, track progress, and report on test results.
• Identify, document, and manage defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Best Practices:
• Advocate for and implement industry best practices in testing and quality assurance.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in testing technologies.
Relationship Management:
• Act as the primary liaison between clients and the project team, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Conduct regular status meetings with clients to review progress, address concerns, and provide updates.
Feedback and Resolution:
• Gather and interpret client feedback to refine testing processes and deliverables.
• Resolve client issues and concerns promptly, providing solutions and alternatives as needed.
Documentation:
• Prepare and present detailed reports, presentations, and documentation for clients, translating technical details into accessible language. Business Analysis
• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements and objectives.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather information and understand client needs.
Analysis and Documentation:
• Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement or automation.
• Create detailed functional and technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Solution Design:
• Work with technical teams to design solutions that align with client requirements and business goals.
• Facilitate design sessions and reviews to ensure proposed solutions meet client expectations.
Solutioning Proposal Development:
• Develop and present solution proposals, including cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, and implementation plans.
• Ensure proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with client objectives.
Implementation Support:
• Provide guidance and support during the implementation phase, ensuring solutions are delivered as per requirements.
• Collaborate with testing teams to validate solutions and address any issues.
Experience & Skills :
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, and business analysis.
• Proven track record in implementing and advising on testing technologies and methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in modern testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, JIRA) and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and convey complex information.
• Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies, including requirements gathering and solution design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and clients.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CBAP) are highly desirable
