Golf Operations Executive

The Role

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic
Golf Operations Executive

with
3-5 years of experience

to lead the daily management and strategic growth of Tarun Sardesai Golf (TSG) Academy's satellite centre at the Royal Calcutta Golf Club. In this role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and business development, acting as the key liaison between the site and the TSG Academy High Performance Centre in Kolar, Karnataka. This position is ideal for a proactive and experienced professional who is ready to take on greater responsibility and contribute directly to the academy's success.

What You'll Do

A. Operational Management & Scheduling

: Oversee all operational aspects of the centre, ensuring smooth, daily operations.

  • Coach Scheduling and Reporting

: Manage and coordinate all coach schedules, ensuring availability aligns with client bookings. Maintain and submit weekly coach reports to the Head of Operations.
- Publishing Daily Schedules

: Publish and distribute the daily coach session schedule to the High-Performance Centre (HPC) operations team to ensure seamless coordination.
- Visitor & Itinerary Management

: Manage the itinerary and logistics for visiting senior coaches from the HPC and members of the TSG leadership team. Ensure their visit is productive and all on-site needs are met.
- Site Logistics & Client Relations

: Handle all on-site logistics, including facility readiness, equipment management, and resource allocation.
- Member Record Keeping

: Maintain detailed member records and handle all client-related matters, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Attendance Reporting

: Prepare and submit accurate attendance reports for all sessions to the Academy HQ.

B. Program & Sales Coordination

:

  • JDP Program Management

: Lead the sign-up process and timetabling for the Junior Development Program (JDP), ensuring two scheduled sessions per week for all enrolled juniors.
- Feeds & Clinic Coordination

: Compile and submit sign-up lists for all junior, intermediate, and advanced players to HQ for specialized clinics and lessons.

C. Performance & Communication

:

  • Coach Performance Monitoring

: Proactively monitor the behaviour and daily performance of all on-site coaches, ensuring they adhere to academy standards.
- Coach Audits

: Conduct monthly coach audit schedules to review and provide feedback on their performance.
- Feedback & Escalations

: Handle feedback sessions with the HQ coach to address escalations and communicate performance-related feedback to Royal Calcutta Golf Club (RCGC) coaches.

Required Skills

  • Strategic Planning & Execution

: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and create actionable strategies to improve operations and drive business growth.
- Advanced Data Management & Reporting

: Proficiency in using business intelligence tools and advanced features of
Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel

for detailed data analysis and professional report generation. Experience with CRM and operational management software is highly desirable.
- Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills

: Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to confidently present to senior management and negotiate with external partners.
- Sales & Business Acumen

: A solid understanding of sales principles and client relationship management. Experience in identifying market opportunities and driving revenue growth.
- Problem-Solving & Conflict Resolution

: Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues efficiently and professionally, maintaining a calm and effective approach under pressure.
- Autonomy & Proactiveness

: Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently and proactively identify and address operational challenges without direct supervision.

Educational & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

in Business, Sports Management, or a related field is required; a
Master's degree

is a strong plus.
- 3-5 years of experience

in operations, coordination, or a related management role, preferably within the sports, education, or service industry.

Required Technical Skills & Expertise

:

  • G Suite & Microsoft Office Suite

: Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Docs/Forms and Microsoft Excel/Word for data management, reporting, and scheduling.
- Booking & Scheduling Software

: Hands-on experience with client management and booking platforms or similar systems.
- CRM Software

: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage client communication and sales pipelines.
- Point-of-Sale (POS) Systems

: Experience with POS systems for handling payments and sales transactions.
- Communication Platforms

: Proficient in using professional communication tools such as
Slack, Google Chat

or
Microsoft Teams

for internal team coordination.
