About the Role :
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Disaster Recovery Specialist to join our team.
In this entry-level role, you will play an essential part in building and maintaining our disaster recovery (DR) strategy.
You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and gain valuable experience in a critical IT function.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in the development, testing, and documentation of DR plans and procedures.
- Participate in DR drills and simulations to ensure readiness.
- Learn and understand various DR technologies and tools.
- Monitor system health and identify potential risks.
- Assist with data backup and recovery processes.
- Perform basic DR administration tasks.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the DR program.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 0-1 year of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related role (a plus).
- Strong understanding of fundamental IT concepts, including data security and network infrastructure (a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
