Essential FunctionsPlans and designs Azure cloud solution architectures as best-in-class critical enterprise solutionsDevelops software solutions across multiple subsystems within our applications, including collaboration with requirements definition, rapid prototyping, architectural design, coding, testing and deploymentUnderstands how our applications operate, are structured, and how customers use themProvides engineering support when building, deploying, configuring and supporting systems for customersPerforms complex product design, systems analysis and engineering activities on applications softwareResearches new technology and development tools to remain informed of current trendsDocuments and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments and clearly readable codeAnalyzes defects, performs root cause analysis, and collaborates to resolveComplies with established internal quality systems and considers standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements as part of coding activitiesLeads code and design reviews. Analyzes and makes recommendations regarding coding standards, technology improvements, development tools, best practices, and process improvement.Participates with the engineering and operations teams to analyze and make recommendations for standardizing, scaling and enhancing our products and the services utilized to deploy/install/release those productsMentors team members in best practices and provides technical leadership and product guidanceAll other duties and responsibilities as assignedSkills needed to be successfulClear, effective verbal and written communication skillsGood collaboration and teamwork skillsAbility to mentor othersAbility to present complex ideas in a consumable manner to technical and non-technical stakeholdersExpert knowledge of scripting and object-oriented software development principlesExpert knowledge of relational and/or non-relational databasesSolid development skills and overall understanding of software development methodologiesUnderstanding of refactoring or re-engineering solutionsThorough knowledge of design principles and patternsSolid understanding of Agile software development methodologiesExperience with Azure services/products across network, compute, storage, database, security and select right product and prepare the design. Recommend the right Azure Services/Products in design to achieve cost effective solution/product.

Required Experience & EducationBachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or related discipline or equivalent experience7-10 years’ experience with software development life cycle, software testing methodologies, and quality assuranceExpert knowledge of Azure cloud architecture and hands-on experience utilizing a variety of Azure native servicesExpert knowledge of .NET, C#, JavaScript, RDBMS (Oracle (preferred), SQL Server), OOPS concepts as well as multi-tiered application design and development, and HTML/DHTMLExperience in front end web technologies like React, AngularExperience in API programming, Scripting, and Service Oriented ArchitectureExperience with Microservices architectureApplication modernization experience with containers (Docker),

or DAPRExperience in working on enterprise web-based software systems utilizing N-tier architectures, dynamic content, highly scalable approaches, and security models/implementations.Experience in design and implementation of multi-tenant, SaaS platform. Ability to design a global infrastructure solution that is secured and compliant to various regulatory standards like HIPAA, GDPR, PCI etc. using best practices and patterns.Experience with deployment pipelines (ADO, Jenkins, etc.)
