Job Title: Lead Power BI Developer

Job Summary:

Sourcemash is seeking a Lead Power BI Developer to architect and deliver high-impact BI solutions. In this role, you'll lead dashboard development, mentor a small BI team, and collaborate with stakeholders to turn data into strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design and development of Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.
  • Build and optimize data models (Star/Snowflake).
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries and ETL pipelines (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory).
  • Ensure data integrity and performance across BI systems.
  • Manage KPIs and business metrics reporting.
  • Mentor junior developers and support cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in BI/Data Analytics, with 3+ years in Power BI.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL tools.
  • Hands-on experience in data modeling and performance tuning.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
  • Experience with Azure or cloud data platforms is a plus.
