Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Front End Engineer to build the user-facing elements of Awani Tech’s platform.

What We’re Looking For (Non-Negotiable):

  • A hobby programmer with a passion for coding and continuous learning.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to different front end technologies and frameworks.
  • Ability to understand fuzzy business problems and develop simple, effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to make pragmatic decisions in tech choices, focusing on practical solutions that best meet business needs.
  • Eager to work in an environment with direct exposure to on-ground business.
  • Enthusiastic about exploring and working with open source software.

Important Note: We are not looking for candidates with skills focused solely on algorithms and data structures. We value practical problem-solving abilities and flexibility over theoretical knowledge alone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces and front end features.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Collaborate with back end engineers to integrate front end components with server-side logic.
  • Work with various technologies and adapt to new ones as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of front end development experience.
  • Proficiency in one or more front end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, Flutter or Vue.js.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
  • Experience of building apps across different OSs and devices is a plus.
