Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Sourcing Engineer at microfactory.tech located in Ahmedabad. As a Sourcing Engineer, your day-to-day tasks will involve supplier evaluation, supplier development, supplier quality assurance, procurement, and supply chain management. You will work closely with the supplier network and ensure high-quality sourcing services for our global clients.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in supplier evaluation, supplier development, and supplier quality assurance- Experience in procurement and supply chain management- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials- Excellent communication and negotiation skills- Visit suppliers and qualify them and on-board them- Prepare RFQs, select suppliers, procure samples, manage operations, logistic and complete product life cycle- Attention to detail and ability to analyze supplier capabilities- Ability to work collaboratively and independently- Proficiency in relevant software and tools like Solidworks, AutoCAD.- Strong Quality background- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field- Salary based on skills and experience and as per industry standards- flexible work hours and work visit compansations
