We are seeking a skilled and detail- oriented Electronics Component Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As an Electronics Component Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of electronic systems by selecting and integrating various electronic components. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electronics, a deep understanding of electronics components and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross- functional teams.

1. Component selection: Identify and select appropriate electronic components based on project requirements, considering factors such as performance, reliability, cost and availability.2. Evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluation of electronic components to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.3. Lifecycle managemnt: Manage the lifecycle of electronic components, including obsolesce managemnt. Propose alternative components and solutions when necessary to mitigate risks associated with component availability.4. Collaboration: Collaborate with HW engineers, design teams, and other stakeholders to integrate electronic components seamlessly into the overall system. Provide technical support during the design and manufacturing phases.5. Cost optimization: Identify opportunities for cost reduction through alternative components.6. Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality assurance processes for electronics. Collaborate with Quality control teams to identify and address any quality issues promptly.7. Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest advancements and trends in electronic components, technologies, and industry standards. Apply this knowledge to improve component selection and integration processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field2. Proven experience as an Electronics Component Engineer or a similar role3. In- depth knowledge of electronic components, including semiconductors, resistors, capacitors, connectors etc4. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electronic components.5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.8. Project managemnt skills and ability to meet deadlines.
