Job Summary:

  • Electrical Component qualification testing (Evaluation, Characterization, Life test etc.)
  • Plastic Package Qualification, Die testing.
  • Defining Component test plans, procedures and creating test setup (Hardware and
Software).

  • Handling Electrical Lab Instrument.
  • Component Data Management.
  • Alternate Suggestion and PCN (Product Change Notice) impact analysis.
  • Analyze BOMs of tools for ROHS, WEEE Compliance.
  • Life Cycle Analysis of Electronic, Electrical and Electromechanical components.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Component Qualification (Evaluation, Characterization, Life test etc.)
  • Writing test plans, procedures and creating test setup
  • Testing Electronic Component based on technical attribute as per different test
condition.

  • Investigation of test results with different Cross functional team to validate the
component operation as per design.

  • Creating reports and presenting findings to management or engineering teams
  • Operating electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters to
measure voltage, current, resistance, and other parameters.

  • Component Data Management in PLM Tool
  • Performing research and development on new components
  • Analyze Electrical and Electronics components and subassemblies for
Obsolescence, ROHS and WEEE status.

  • Analyze impact of PCN changes to FFF (Form Fit Function) of the component.
  • Alternate component suggestion like dropin replacements, upgraded versions, ROHS
equivalent parts for ROHS Non-Compliant EE parts etc.

  • Understand and adhere strictly to company policies, standards, and procedures.

Skills Required:
Mandatory

¢ Electronic Component Testing

¢ Electronic Component Qualification.
e Electronic Hardware R&D

e Electronic Hardware Failure Analysis.
¢ Electronic Hardware Repairing.

¢ Electronic Hardware Testing

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

4+ years' experience in an Electrical Engineering role.
