We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Manager, Asia Pacific Center of Excellence Head, Group Chief Operating Officer Center of Excellence

Principal responsibilities :

Lead by example, delivering high quality leadership and support to team members. Drive service excellence through operational oversight and deliver quality, risk, people and financial performance targets. Drive operational excellence and improvements through digitization / automation / simplification of processes. Maintain strong operational and process management disciplines within the team to ensure consistency in meeting/exceeding the agreed service standards. Overseeing cross-functional, ASP wide projects and initiatives. Deliver on the key performance indicators for the function. Seek new ways to enhance and expand the existing Service Catalogue. Standardize existing services across markets. Seek to identify and deliver cost and resource savings associated with the operation of the teams across the COE in line with the Regional COO Office Strategies. Partnering with DBS functions to review strategic opportunities to implement operating model synergies. Leveraging the DBS organization including Operations, Technology, Data and Innovation to support the delivery of ASP COO and wider GCOO priorities. Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

Experience of working in a COO Office or Business Management function and have worked across multiple jurisdictions with a range of stakeholders, including senior management at HSBC Project, operational and people management experience at HSBC Continuous improvement and change management experience Strong understanding of: HSBC organization, and its strategy, structures and processes, especially DBS, Design and coordination of processes; and, Regional and local Market stakeholder management. Management and leadership skills. Able to manage teams across CoE locations (Bangalore, Kuala Lumpur) Tech savvy. Digital skills including application of evolving AI for automating / simplifying team deliverables. Expertise in all MS Office applications. Ability to produce and review reports/ papers/ decks independently. Strong financial and analytical skills. Proven ability to work well under pressure, demonstrate flexibility and adapt to rapidly changing priorities and tasks that are often highly restricted, wide ranging, complex and time sensitive.  Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to succeed within a matrix management structure and build and maintain regional team relationships.  Excellent time and project management skills, the ability to handle multiple work items simultaneously.
