Position - Kafka Developer

Location - Pune/Hyderabad/Gurgaon

Experience - 8 -10 years


Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Kafka Developer who has extensive experience in ETL processes and

Java/Spring Boot development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and

maintaining high-performance data pipelines and applications. This role involves working closely with various

stakeholders to ensure our data and application solutions are efficient, reliable, and scalable.


Key Skills: Expert in Kafka, ETL and Java / Springboot


Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable Kafka-based data pipelines.

• Implement and manage ETL processes to handle large volumes of data efficiently.

• Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot applications to support various business functions.

• Optimize Kafka clusters for performance and scalability.

• Integrate Kafka with other data processing frameworks and storage solutions.

• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other developers to understand data requirements and

deliver robust solutions.

• Ensure data security, integrity, and governance policies are adhered to in all data engineering processes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and application performance.

• Monitor and manage Kafka cluster performance, job execution, and resource utilization.

• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 8+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Kafka, ETL, and Java/Spring Boot.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing Kafka-based data pipelines.

• Strong proficiency in ETL processes and tools.

• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot framework.

• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.

• Knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
