PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Windows-based applications using technologies such as C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, WPF, WinForms, or C++.
  • Build and optimize desktop applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Develop custom Windows services, APIs, and libraries as needed
  • Integrate Windows applications with third-party tools, APIs, and services.
  • Work with Windows system-level APIs (Win32, COM, etc.) to implement advanced features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Optimize applications for performance and memory usage.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Use debugging tools and techniques to troubleshoot Windows applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and expertise.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
  • Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated test scripts.
  • Ensure smooth deployment of applications and updates to production environments.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and API documentation.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of experience with bachelors degree in computer science or
  • related technical discipline
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and/or C++.
  • Experience with design patterns (MVVM, MVC)
  • Experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and WinF
  • Strong understanding of Windows system-level programming, including Win32 APIs, COM, and multithreading.
  • Familiarity with Windows Services, PowerShell scripting, and registry management.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and other integration technologies like gRPC or GraphQL
  • Knowledge of database systems (e.g.,SQL Server, SQLite) and data access technologies (e.g., Entity Framework, ADO.NET).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g.,Git, SVN).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience with UWP (Universal Windows Platform) or MAUI for cross-platform development.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g.,Azure, AWS) and their integration with Windows applications.
  • Familiarity with security best practices for Windows applications (e.g., encryption, authentication, secure coding).
  • Experience with performance profiling tools (e.g.,Visual Studio Profiler, PerfView).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for Windows environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
  • Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions.
