Experience: 12-14 years      Education: IT Graduate LinkedIn Link: Avigna.AI Job Summary: As a QA Manager, you will be responsible for defining and implementing robust test strategies across multiple projects, leading and mentoring the QA team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. You will work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to drive best practices in automated and manual testing, ensure comprehensive defect management, and maintain high standards in quality assurance. Requirements Lead and manage the entire testing lifecycle for web, mobile, and API-based applications. Define and implement comprehensive test strategies based on product requirements and specifications. Oversee and perform functional , regression , integration , system , performance , and security testing . Develop and implement effective test automation strategies , with a strong preference for Playwright, and experience with tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, Cypress, etc. Ensure mature defect reporting metrics are defined, measured, and acted upon (e.g., test coverage, defect density, defect leakage, etc.), managing defect tracking using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps. Create and oversee comprehensive test plans and ensure the generation of insightful test reports for all stakeholders. Review and optimize test cases and scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage and efficiency. Mentor and guide QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement.   Identify test process bottlenecks and recommend solutions for improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 12-14 years of progressive QA experience , with at least 3+ years in a QA Manager or similar leadership role. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Proficiency in Functional, Non-Functional (Performance, Security), and API testing. Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, or similar. Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools. Working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills Good to Have: Experience in performance testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools. Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of AI/ML testing scenarios is a plus. Benefits Competitive salary. Health insurance coverage. Experience of working on an Enterprise software development project, with team sizes larger than 10 members Excellent written and Verbal communication skills - there will be regular calls and meetings with clients Should have prior experience working in an Agile software development project – At least 2 years experience You will work closely with the customer teams for demonstrating features developed.
