We are a fast-growing organization in the manufacturing sector with strong global operations. As part of our expansion, we are seeking a skilled Accounts Professional who is detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to take ownership of critical accounting & compliance activities at our plants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and mailing payment files for approval and execution.
  • Reviewing SAP entries posted by makers and ensuring accuracy.
  • Supervising and monitoring the work of juniors in the plant accounts department.
  • Managing sundry creditors efficiently and ensuring timely reconciliations.
  • Reviewing and approving import bills of entry and export shipping bills.
  • Coordinating with banks for inward remittances, import/export documentation, and submission compliance.
  • Handling monthly closing of accounts and ensuring accuracy in reporting.
  • Cross-checking TDS statements and ensuring timely compliance.
  • Updating and maintaining the Fixed Assets Register.
  • Assisting in resolving management queries related to accounts and finance.
  • Accounting for investments, sales/redemption, and capital gain entries.
  • Recording and monitoring foreign exchange variance entries.
  • Supporting statutory & tax audits, preparing schedules for auditors, and ensuring compliance with income tax and other statutory requirements.
  • Submitting statistical data for central budget requirements.
  • Preparing MIS reports related to manpower and electricity consumption.
  • Performing reconciliations of customer and vendor ledgers.
  • Assisting with any additional tasks as assigned by the Vice President Operations (VPO).

Who We're Looking For

  • Qualification: CA Inter / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / Equivalent
  • Experience: 4–8 years in plant accounting, preferably in a manufacturing setup.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of taxation, import/export documentation, TDS, audits, and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead juniors and work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
