Role Overview

As a Sports Content Creator Intern, you will be responsible for ideating, creating, and publishing engaging sports-related content across our digital channels. You will get hands-on exposure to content creation, sports journalism, and fan engagement in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research trending stories, news, and updates from the sports world.
  • Create engaging short-form and long-form content (articles, scripts, posts, reels, memes, videos).
  • Assist in covering live sports events (pre-match build-ups, match reports, highlights, fan reactions).
  • Collaborate with the creative and social media teams to design engaging campaigns.
  • Use analytics to understand what content resonates with audiences and optimize accordingly.
  • Stay up to date with pop culture & sports trends to create sportainment-focused storytelling.

Requirements

  • Strong passion for sports (cricket, football, Olympics, esports, etc.).
  • Good writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to create and edit basic visual content (Canva, basic video editing tools preferred).
  • Active on social media platforms with an understanding of content trends.
  • A creative, curious, and fast-learning mindset.
  • Students pursuing graduation/post-graduation in Media, Journalism, Mass Communication, or Sports Management preferred (not mandatory).
