Key Responsibilities:
Application Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of applications running on Windows, including deployment, configuration, updates, and decommissioning. Ensure applications are properly integrated and optimized within the Windows tech stack.
Windows OS Server Management: Administer and support Windows OS Servers, ensuring their performance, security, and reliability. Handle server configurations, updates, and troubleshooting.
Issue Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve application and server issues. Utilize tools like IIS for web server management and PowerShell for scripting and automation to address problems efficiently. SSL handling.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor application and server performance using tools such as Datadog , psview , and Nagios . Analyze performance data to proactively identify and address potential issues.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for application and server issues. Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders, including development, QA, operations, and network teams to ensure timely resolution of technical problems.
Technical Liaison: Collaborate with technical teams to escalate issues, provide updates, and coordinate efforts for issue resolution. Ensure clear and effective communication of technical details and resolutions.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for application and server support processes, troubleshooting procedures, and system configurations. Ensure that all changes and issues are well-documented.
Data Integration: Support data integration tasks using Informatica for ETL processes, data warehousing, and governance.
Cloud & Infrastructure Management: Administer AWS services such as EC2 , VPC , AWS CloudWatch , and Storage . Manage AWS Security Groups to ensure secure and efficient cloud operations.
Network & Firewall Management: Oversee network configurations and firewall settings to support secure and reliable application operation
