Key Responsibilities:

Distributor Acquisition & On-boarding: Identify and onboard high-potential distributors who align with the brand’s values and goals in new regions.

Leverage Existing Network: Utilize your established network of distributors in the kids’ toys sector to expand the brand’s reach and increase sales.

Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with key distributors to ensure loyalty, product availability, and optimal sales performance.

Sales Strategy Execution: Work closely with distributors to develop and execute sales strategies, ensuring that targets are met and exceeded across regions.

Market Expansion: Drive regional expansion by introducing the brand to new distributors and retail markets, particularly focusing on untapped areas with high demand for kids’ products.

Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate favorable terms with distributors, ensuring mutual growth and alignment with business objectives.

Training & Support: Provide ongoing product training and sales support to distributors, ensuring they have the necessary tools and knowledge to drive brand success in their regions.

Performance Monitoring: Track distributor performance, analyse sales data, and implement corrective actions when needed to meet sales and distribution targets.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in distributor management, sales, or business development, preferably within the kids’ toys or consumer goods sector.
  • A strong, pre-existing network of distributors in the kids' toys or related markets, with a proven ability to establish and expand distributor relationships.
  • Strong background in developing and executing sales strategies to drive market penetration and growth.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable contracts and terms with distributors.
  • Proven ability to lead market expansion initiatives, particularly in identifying and entering new or untapped markets.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across different stakeholders and teams.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to assess performance data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Education:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce). Knowledge of sales performance tracking tools is a plus.
