Overview:In this role, you will be in the business intelligence team overseeing ETL data pipelines and creating ad hoc data requests, reporting, automation and pulling out audit-compliance related data points under short deadlines. You will be responsible for handling large volumes of data from various sources (MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS DynamoDB, etc.) transforming the data in Databricks and storing it efficiently in S3. You will be playing a crucial role in audit and compliance data requests which would require you to have an in-depth understanding of fintech loan management systems and about the loan journey.Key Responsibilities:Fintech Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of fintech systems particularly loan management processes, including disbursements, EMIs, repayment schedules, and collections. Ensure accurate data handling for audit purposes and regulatory compliance.Ad Hoc Reporting: Collaborate with business stakeholders (e.G operations, collections and product managers) to generate custom reports and dashboards. Help out junior analysts and oversee their work too.Automation & Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities to automate routine data processing tasks and improve the performance of data systems, focusing on scalability and efficiency. Design and implement data models that structure and organize data in ways that optimize its accessibility and performance. Utilize Databricks and AWS tools and Python libraries (Boto, etc.) to automate data ingestion, transformation and sharing.Required Skills & Experience:Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark (Optional).Code and Process Documentation.Expertise in creating data visualizations in tools similar to metabase, looker, re-dash and databricks.Experience solving complex data problems, optimizing systems.Understanding of NBFCs lead journey & loan journey.Familiarity with NBFCs audit processes and regulatory data.Experience working in fintech as a data analyst for 3-4 years.
