Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with expertise in designing, developing, and delivering Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse solutions using Power BI, DAX, and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in large-scale enterprise environments and proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Data Modeling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize complex DAX queries to enhance data models and reports.
  • Integrate data from various sources, including databases, cloud services, and other BI tools.
  • Build optimal performant Power BI solutions through effective data modeling and query optimization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to models and reports.
  • Manage Power BI custom partitioning and ensure data is properly secured.
  • Design and develop complex SQL, PL/SQL code modules and maintain database performance.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, bash, perl, and Python/pyspark.
  • Work with Agile Methodology, Scrum Methodology, and cloud technologies like Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Functions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse solutions.
  • Expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and Data Modeling.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in designing complex SQL, PL/SQL code modules.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, including PowerShell, bash, perl, and Python/pyspark.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and big data concepts.
  • Experience with Agile Methodology, Scrum Methodology.
