JR50787 Technical System Engineer

The Technical System Engineeris a support role in the project delivery cycle with hands-on experience migrating customers to the supporting Web applications operational processes, deployment checklists, etc. The candidate will mostly be involved with transforming development, test and prod environments from on-premises to Onprem and cloud and supporting the Web applications and SAAS applications. This will involve working with stakeholders to gather technical requirements, architect solutions, and execute on deliverables.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

As part of your responsibilities you will be required to:

Resolve technical issues related to Web Applications & SaaS products. Deploy web applications and SAAS products in Cloud environment Upgrading SAAS products by coordinating with Vendors Troubleshoot technical issues by working with Customers and Vendor Providing immediate support to customers via email, chat, or remote desktop connections. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex problems. Maintain global collaboration with the other Micron IT operations teams, and 3rd party application providers Operational support escalation Incident management and problem management Project execution Maintain OLA and SLA agreements with other Micron Business Units Innovation

Specific responsibilities:

Continually improves operations through routine monitoring of system performance metrics and proactive actions. Reviewing of system log files, trend analysis, configuration, incident and problem management processes. Recommends and works with the Solution and Enterprise Architect on system or architectural changes when needed to improve performance, high availability, scalability, or propose innovative technologies. Ensures architectural consistency and provides technical direction through roadmap process, knowledge management, disaster recovery plan development and testing. Creating all the necessary documentation for any changes in the environment or innovative technology deployments as reference architecture for the global operation team.

Skills and Qualifications :

Strong problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in understanding and diagnosing technical issues. Familiarity with cloud-based services of Azure, AWS and SaaS platforms. Excellent communication skills to assist customers effectively. Knowledge of programming languages Python Familiar with ITSM tools and understand the processes involved well.
