About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Claims Specialist to manage and process insurance claims related to our steel manufacturing and power plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of property, machinery, marine, and liability insurance claims, Employee Term Insurance and Health Claim ensuring timely and accurate settlements while minimizing financial losses.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Claims management:
    Handle end-to-end insurance claims of employees for plant assets, machinery breakdown, business interruption, marine cargo, and third-party liabilities.
    Assess damages, gather documentation (police/FIR reports, surveyor findings, repair estimates), and submit claims to insurers.
    Liaise with insurance companies, surveyors, and legal teams for claim processing and dispute resolution.

  2. Coordination & reporting:
    Work with plant maintenance, safety, and finance teams to validate claims.
    Prepare detailed claim reports for management and insurers.
    Track claim status and follow up for timely settlements.
